Rainforest Foundation UK website
I designed and developed the new Rainforest Foundation UK website. Their previous website looked dated and didn't align with their refreshed brand guidelines. We identified that one of the the key issues for them was their CMS. It was outdated and difficult for them to use so I made this the priority deliverable.
I worked with the communications team to identify areas of the site that could be re-structured or where we could use existing solutions to replace outdated custom code.
I proposed a solution to use a popular open source CMS with an easy to use drag and drop interface. I created a library of styled, re-usable components allowing their communications team build dynamic news pages.
The site underwent a design refresh aligning with their brand guidelines.
I enhanced their news and publications offerings by adding an easy way to categorise content and a more powerful search function.
